From the 9th to 30th of September, Brisbane Festival explodes across the city with a thrilling program of theatre, music, dance, circus, opeara and major public events such as Sunsuper Riverfire.

Bledisloe Cup

The Qantas Wallabies take on the New Zealand All Blacks in the third and final Bledisloe Cup Test Match of 2017.


This could be the decider in 2017 for the Bledisloe Cup. Could this be the year the Qantas Wallabies regain the coveted trophy? Arguably the most famous Trans-Tasman competition in sport, the Aussies are well placed to take the honours with two tests on home soil.


It will all climax at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane, on Saturday 21 October.

In 2017, the best players and teams from around the world will descend on Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea for the Rugby League World Cup. The tournament will see 14 teams play 28 games over five weeks all hoping to
be crowned world cup winners, in what is the pinnacle event in international Rugby League.
The atmosphere will be electric in the stadium, and the fan experience will be unrivalled.
